I'm loving this series! Are you using a felt square as the backing? Certainly makes for easy edge-finishing!
I'm also doing a quilt-a-week journal project this year (3rd year counting!) and I'm really enjoying your collages!

Mary: The felt is both batting and backing. I think the pinked edges fits the folkloric concept well - and it sure does make the finishing easy!
Cheryl: I'll go check yours out. The discipline is really good for me, and I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Natalya: He is cute, but the title implies he's not such an upstanding character - and he smokes. Ew.
