Fish tales
In between a home improvement/art display project last weekend (to be revealed soon, tease, tease), I found a little time to make some art. I painted a bunch of fish prints using my new little blue gill and made a few of the prints into fiber postcards. This small rubber fish makes me so happy! Weird, I know.
These two postcards are destined for the Wish Upon a Card fundraiser sponsored by the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show this July. I'll be teaching all five days at A Quilter's Affair in Sisters, Oregon the week prior to the show. Only the Friday class still has space left, so if you want to join me, don't delay!

Jane-I saw your post on quilt art and stopped in to see your post cards.
They are great! I have a yahoo group: Studio Quilts Goldilocks and Friends
It is a textile art group with about 50 members. I have organized a study project for the group; we will select books to study from periodically. The group has selected your book; we will begin studying it in August. Everyone is very motivated. I thought you would like to know how we will be using your book.
Everyone has purchased the book and we will read one chapter per week, do the exercises and then post comments.
We are also doing a summer postcard exchange in the mean time.
I plan to share the link for your blog so they can see your postcards too.
Thanks for the great book!

You made beautiful postcards. I love the fishes. Do you trade any AMCs?
Greetings from Germany
